We offer unique decorations that reflect your child's taste and theme and can provide the perfect snacks to compliment your occasion.
Set-up and clean-up are part of the package so that you too, can enjoy your event. The themes listed are only a small part of everything A Storybook Party has to offer. The only limit is your imagination.

A Storybook Party has run many parties, from small backyard affairs with close family, to big New York parties with over 150 guests.
Why are your appearances or parties so special?
I have a commitment to making your child's day special and unique. Our characters wear the most authentic costumes and are versed in the parts they play. They love to work with children and are trained actors, singers and or dancers. We have wonderful reviews and always make sure we leave the children with a sense of wonder.
My parties are customized to your specifications and handmade to suit your needs. This means that no-one will have ever been to a party like the one you book with A Storybook Party. Everything from the costumes and decorations, to the handmade invitations are specially chosen for their quality. We are also amazing value when compared to more generic parties in the area. Remember when comparing prices most do not include a cake or specially made invitations, thank-you cards or crafts and often require much more work for you.
Do you have a location?
I have planned parties in people's houses, outdoors and in local gyms and halls. I also have a list of locations that we use often.
What is the minimum/maximum number of guests that I can invite?
There is no limit to our Character appearances though some elements may be changed slightly if you decide to host more than 12 children. Our party packages are designed for a minimum of 10 guests and each additional guest is $15. Parties that cater for 15 or more children may require additional staffing to ensure all children are given the attention they deserve.
Can we choose another theme?
I love a challenge and would relish the opportunity to create something magical for you! Contact me today for a "mood" board of ideas around your chosen theme. Check out my photos for recent themes too on our web page and on facebook. I can also combine themes if you have a mixed boy and girl party.
How long do your parties last?
Character appearances are usually 60 minutes.
Our Party packages provide 1.5 - 2 Hours hours of scheduled activities, which leaves time for arrivals/departures and present opening. I will arrive two hours before the scheduled party time to set up and will require up to 1 hour afterwards to clear away. It is helpful if the area is clear of guests whilst we are setting up to ensure a smooth party.
Cleanup and dismantling of the party will begin at the end time stated on your invitation. It would be helpful if you wish the party to continue if you move your guests to a different area.
Should we tip? Tips are never expected at all but always appreciated and are kept by the performer.
